Sir Anthony Hopkins is launching his own series of NFTs.
The 84-year-old actor is set to release his NFT series – dubbed the Eternal Collection – on Thursday (Oct 13/22) and the Oscar-winning star has turned to some of his most iconic screen roles for inspiration .
Anthony, who has starred in films such as The Silence of the Lambs and The Father, explained: “As an artist, I’m inspired by the power of art, music, cinema and the dreamy, dreamy quality of life.
“The Metaverse presents a fantastic opportunity to connect with audiences in a completely different way. Using NFTs as my canvas to take my art to the next level is truly an exciting proposition.
“I’m probably the oldest person in the NFT community and social media, proving that anything is possible at any age.”
Anthony has teamed up with Web3 entertainment company Orange Comet for his series of NFTs. The series was billed as celebrating his acting heritage, and NFT was inspired by some of his greatest characters.

Anthony also works with Inner-City Arts in Los Angeles, where he supports their efforts to help shape a society of individuals who are creative, confident and collaborative.
