SISTER, the media conglomerate co-founded by Elizabeth Murdoch, Jane Featherstone and Stacey Snyder, has unveiled a creative partnership and a significant stake in new TV and technology entertainment company Yes Yes Media .
Yes Yes is an unscripted entertainment business founded by broadcaster and format developer Richard Bacon, who came out with “The Big Breakfast” and “Top of the Pops” and created the format “The Hustler,” created by Craig Ferguson (ABC) Hosted by, This Is My House (BBC1) and I Really Told You So, hosted by Jimmy Carr (Channel 4).

Through the deal, Yes Yes can leverage SISTER’s global network of creative companies and investments, spanning television and film, podcasts, publishing and live events.
In addition to creating new unscripted formats, Yes Yes Media is developing proprietary hardware and software that will enable viewers to interact with these formats across multiple devices. To lead this development, Yes Yes has hired California tech entrepreneurs Geoff Abbott and Reed Seerman.
Bacon said: “We are now really entering the TikTok era, but traditional TV entertainment has not taken full advantage of this in a localized way. I now see all screens as TVs. At Yes Yes, we are developing Content that meets audience needs, naturally and authentically, on any device. We’re writing talent and game shows, partnering with a video game company, and creating the format that we’ll be streaming directly to viewers so everyone is watching to change the story.”

Yes Yes also revealed a partnership with Satisfaction, one of France’s largest improv TV producers. Satisfaction and Yes Yes Media have agreed to a TV format development partnership to create a new unscripted format for local and global buyers, with Satisfaction also investing heavily in Yes Yes Media.
“Partnering with Satisfaction will allow us to achieve rapid growth by collaborating to create exciting new TV formats for buyers around the world,” Bacon said.
Arthur Essebag, founder of Satisfaction and French producer, added: “This goes far beyond mere investment: it’s our firm belief in Richard’s talent and amazing creativity, and we want to support him in using never-before-seen Technology creates a new wave of unscripted formats. Technology. We can’t wait to introduce these top-notch ideas to audiences in our respective markets.”
Other supporters of Yes Yes include actor Courteney Cox and composers Johnny McDaid and Savan Kotecha.
Bacon will split his time between the company’s Los Angeles and London offices.
Yes Yes Media is represented by CAA and Hansen Jacobson Teller Hoberman.
