One of the two companies designated to develop Wynn Resorts’ integrated resort project in the United Arab Emirates According to a partner at the property, preparations have now begun on the project site.
Local property developer Marjan, which is partnering with Wynn and RAK Hospitality Holding on the project, announced overnight that ALEC Engineering and Contracting LLC (ALEC), part of the Investment Corporation of Dubai (ICD), had been awarded the master contract for construction, while German foundation specialist Bauer International FZE would undertake the piling and enable the project.
Marjan also revealed that Bauer has started construction preparations at the project site on the man-made Al Marjan Island, which is expected to open in 2026.

Located 45 minutes from Dubai International Airport, Al Marjan Island spans 2.7 million square meters of reclaimed land extending into the Arabian Gulf, with over 7.8 kilometers of beaches and 23 kilometers of beachfront.
Wynn’s new IR will span 250,000 square meters and offer views of the Arabian Gulf. It will also feature a casino, a 1,000-room hotel, high-end shopping malls, state-of-the-art conference facilities, an exclusive spa, more than 10 restaurants and lounges, and a variety of entertainment options.
