The Abu Dhabi Convention and Exhibition Bureau (ADCEB), part of the Abu Dhabi Department of Culture and Tourism (DCT Abu Dhabi), has announced the redevelopment of SITE’s Arabic chapter in Abu Dhabi.
DCT Abu Dhabi, in partnership with the Society for Incentive Travel Excellence (SITE), will oversee the development of the incentive travel industry in Abu Dhabi and the wider Mena region, enabling ADCEB to increase Abu Dhabi’s profile among key audiences as a premier business events destination , to take advantage of further networking and business opportunities, and to provide professional development programs for regional MICE professional networks.
SITE is one of the foremost MICE associations for industry professionals worldwide. SITE’s mission is to drive growth in the incentive travel sector, which will benefit local and regional industry stakeholders such as tourist attractions, airlines, destination and event management companies (DMC and EMC), hoteliers and incentive planners .
It will offer members the opportunity to make business connections globally through its extensive member directory, access incentive travel research, trends and data, expand a range of skills and experience through education and certification opportunities, and advance their careers both online and in-person activity.
Speaking at the Arabian Travel Mart (ATM) 2023 at the Dubai World Trade Centre, Mubarak AlShamsi, Director of Abu Dhabi Exhibitions, said: “SITE has decided to establish and rebuild the Arabian Chapter in Abu Dhabi, our local and regional incentive travel partner and professional Individuals will benefit from having such a valuable resource at their doorstep.
