The global smart buildings market is poised to grow steadily over the next few years, with its value expected to grow from USD 80.62 billion this year to USD 328.62 billion by 2029 at a CAGR of 22.2%, according to a report released ahead of the organization of the technical seminar series Report said to be provided by Superior Essex Communications in the Middle East.

The seminars will be held in selected GCC countries under the theme “Smart and Sustainable Technologies for Smart Buildings”.

The first workshop will be held in Kuwait on 17 October, followed by Doha (18 October); Abu Dhabi (20 October); Muscat (31 October) and Dubai (11 2nd).

“The Middle East and North Africa will contribute significantly to the growth of the global smart building market due to increasing demand for energy-efficient smart building solutions,” said Paul Weintraub, International Business Director, Superior Essex Communications Insights Industry Report on the Global Smart Building Market.

He noted that growing concern over increasing global energy consumption is expected to drive more advanced and energy-efficient technologies.

“We see a unique opportunity to support developers in the region who want to harness the power of our sustainably manufactured cables to deploy sustainable technologies in their smart buildings,” Weintraub said.

For the seminar series, Superior Essex Communications partnered with Microsens, MHT Lighting, Topnet and Fluke Networks to present a seminar series showcasing the latest advances in sustainable technology innovations and solutions for smart buildings.

Representatives of partner companies will share insights and demonstrate how smart buildings can benefit from deploying sustainable technologies, including sustainable solutions.

K. Ganesan, Managing Director, Topnet Distribution, said: “Smart and smart buildings are increasing to meet the growing demand for connectivity and energy efficiency.”

“These buildings are designed to be green and sustainable. This requires innovative technologies for telecommunications and power distribution in smart buildings. The seminar will cover the latest innovations and solutions to meet the needs of smart buildings,” he added.
