The inventor of the Abu Dhabi Police has been granted a patent for a unique device for improving personal and property safety. They have been accredited by the International Federation of Inventors’ Associations (IFIA) in recognition of these inventions.
The three police inventors include: Ali Muhammad Al Masabi, who patented two inventions from the GCC Patent Office. His inventions include smart swabs for raising and testing biological contaminants (blood, semen and saliva), and mobile alarm devices for fire, toxic and flammable gases.
The second inventor was Lieutenant Colonel Wafaa Ali Al Tayari, who received a patent from the GCC Patent Office for the design and manufacture of a new compound for genetic fingerprinting in the criminal field. The third inventor is Abdul Rahim Burwais, a folk innovation expert, who has been awarded a PCT-type global patent for a wearable device that measures activity levels, which can be used in sports fields and some diseases such as ADHD and autism. The device makes recommendations to users based on activity levels and artificial intelligence algorithms.
This is the first time Abu Dhabi Police has obtained such certificates and titles. These inventions and innovations have been classified as applied scientific research indicators and greatly contribute to strengthening the Abu Dhabi Police’s position as a sponsor of talent and inventors, and as a preeminent innovation agency capable of competing globally in the field of creativity, invention status, knowledge and modern technology.
