Abu Dhabi, May 26, 2023: Abu Dhabi’s Yas Island is home to the stunning IIFA Rocks 2022, which brings together splendor, luxury and octane on one platform. Sobha Realty IIFA Rocks is co-presented by NEXA. IIFA ROCKS 2023 witnessed a breathtaking celebration of fun, glamour, delightful performances and mesmerizing performances at the grandest celebration of Indian cinema, the International Indian Film Institute and Awards (IIFA) Taking place under one roof, in partnership with the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi (DCT Abu Dhabi), and Miral, Abu Dhabi’s leading creator of immersive destinations and experiences.
Farah Khan and Rajkummar Rao bring great performances from Amit Trivedi, Badshah, Sunidhi Chauhan, Sukhbir Singh, Palak Muchhal and Iulia Vantur Sobha Realty IIFA Rocks. IIFA Rocks continues to be a showcase for musical talent, delivering top-notch performances by the industry’s greatest names, a musical spectacle befitting the world’s largest film industry.
The musical extravaganza kicked off with a dance performance by Palak Muchhal before Farah Khan jumped onto the podium. Rajkummar Rao took to the stage during the song Main Hoon Na and the pair recreated the Kuch Kuch Hota Hai scene as they both greeted the crowd and had witty conversations about friendship. Sunidhi Chauhan, Badshah starring Jacqueline Fernandez, Rakul Preet Singh and Nora Fatehi gave captivating performances later in the evening. Amit Trivedi captivated the audience with his lovely voice while performing with Arun Kamat, Devendra Palse, Meghna Mishra and Yashita Sharma. Thanks to Sukhbir Singh and Iulia Vantur, everyone started dancing to the dhols. With no one else but Nucleya, the evening came to an exciting conclusion!
Cinematography, Screenplay, Dialogue, Editing, Choreography, Sound Design, Sound Mixing, Score and Special Effects (visual effects) make up the nine categories. The IIFA Rocks Gala honored technical category winners, while also honoring Indian cinema’s crowning achievement with glittering IIFA figurines.
A highlight of IIFA Rocks was a special collection presented by Bollywood’s favorite designer, Manish Malhotra. Embodying “Old World Glamor Meets New”, the collection was groundbreaking and imaginative, with Salman Khan and Nora Fatehi leading the night.
