The sequel film, which is said to feature about a million different Spider-Mans — figuratively, of course — has reportedly grabbed $17.35 million in Thursday’s previews. It’s now expected to bring in $80 million in its opening weekend. That’s a far cry from the 2018 film, which grossed $3.5 million in previews and $35.4 million in its opening weekend.
If you can bear some more good news about the film, it has been revealed that a third installment is on the way, set for March 2024.

Elsewhere in Spider-Man, Tom Holland, who plays the live-action Spider-Man, said a fourth film in his franchise was in the works, but has since stopped.
The Writers Guild of America, the union that covers most of the entertainment industry’s writers, has been on strike for more than a month now. The union is trying to negotiate demands for a higher minimum wage, more gig staff and shorter contract exclusivity.
“Quick” family
Remember when Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson was almost fast and Furious family?You may recall that Tyrese Gibson also took issue with The Rock’s split with Jason Statham Hobbs and Shaw. This also caused some commotion among the “fast” family. We act as if it never happened because that’s what other people are doing.
Johnson and Vin Diesel apparently secretly reconciled sometime last year. Johnson broke the news in an Instagram post, as he also told fans he would be returning to the team as Hobbs.
