new commit: Harvard secures a major verbal commitment to its Class of 2028 from one of the top freshmen in the class*: National Qualifier Evan Crowley San Antonio, Texas.
he will join Joshua Chen In Cambridge in autumn 2024.
Regarding his commitment, he said:

Croley competes in Streamline Aquatics on his club swim team and placed 13th in the 50-meter freestyle, 14th in the 100-meter freestyle and 100-meter fly at the Juniors West in December 16th and 17th in the 100m backstroke. In March, he finished sixth in the College Station Sectionals’ 50 free games.
His best moments include:
- 50 Free – 20.04
- 100 Free – 43.48
- 100 rounds – 48.08
- 200 rounds – 1:46.52
- 100 fly – 48.05
As a senior at Clark High School, Crowley finished third in both the 100-meter freestyle and 100-meter backstroke at the 2023 UIL 6A State Championships. As a sophomore, he finished third and fourth in those events, respectively.
Crowley tops the 100 free at the 2023 Ivy League Championships, which would put him fourth in the 100, where he will also compete in the B-level finals in the 50, 100 and 200 Score.
