Lee Jung-Jae, star of Netflix’s hit series Squid Game, revealed in a new interview that he has yet to see MrBeast’s viral remake of the series.
When it was first released on Netflix, South Korea’s smash Squid Game took the world by storm. This dark and thought-provoking series became one of the top shows of 2021, if not the top. The show won three Golden Globes in 2022including Best Actor, Best Supporting Actor and Best TV Series, all belong to the drama category.
After the show aired, content creators and celebrities jumped in and made their own versions of the Squid Game, none more so than MrBeast’s viral Squid Game recreation on YouTube.

As early as November 2021, MrBeast Promises Viewers He’s Making a Fully Recreated Squid Game Tournament. The final video aired on November 24, 2021 and has been viewed more than 230 million times.
MrBeast’s take on the Squid Game is “456 random people competing in a precise recreation of each game” and one of the standout stars in the video is Camilla Araujo, aka Player 67But it turns out that despite the popularity of MrBeast’s game, it didn’t catch the attention of Squid Game’s own cast.

Lee Jung Jae Reveals He Has Never Watched MrBeast’s Squid Game Video
in a new interview joke podcastSquid Game star Lee Jung Jae was asked if he had seen the MrBeast parody or at least knew about the viral video.

Sadly, he surprised the Banter boys by replying, “Yeah, I don’t think I’ve seen it.”
However, now that he’s known about the parody, it’s possible the star will now go back and watch it. If that does happen, we’ll be sure to keep you posted on Jung Jae Lee’s reaction to the MrBeast squid game.
