The Sri Lanka Pavilion opened on January 1 at the 2020 Dubai World Expo.Yingshi October 2021. The 300-square-meter pavilion located in the “opportunity” area brings the planning principles of ancient civilizations to life, focusing on the authenticity, compactness and diversity of the island’s three pillars. In the pavilion, visitors will be immersed in a water-inspired experience-emphasizing the value of adaptability and agility, and the willingness to turn challenges into opportunities. The display in the pavilion highlights the unique aspects of this island nation. Visitors’ senses will gain information about the island’s rich culture and heritage, natural ecosystems and wildlife through these film creations.
Visitors can also uncover the secrets of the world-famous Ceylon tea, from leaves to cups, and enjoy a cup of fresh tea along the journey of the pavilion at the special tea corner provided by the Sri Lanka Tea Bureau. The retail space promoted by the Export Development Council will feature a range of Sri Lankan products, from spices to exquisite batik garments.
