Standard Chartered appoints head of consumer, private and commercial banking in UAE

Dubai – Standard Chartered Bank (the Bank) announces appointment today Aisha Abbas as Head of Consumer, Private and Commercial Banking, UAE (CPBB UAE). In this role, Ayesha will report to Rola Abu Manneh, Chief Executive Officer, Standard Chartered Bank, UAE, and Bongiwe Gangeni, Regional Head, Africa, Middle East and Europe, CPBB. In addition to strengthening client relationships, she will be responsible for executing the bank’s strategy and building a presence in retail banking in the UAE, while focusing on developing the bank’s digital products, wealth management and affluent proposition.
