Starzplay, one of the top three subscription video-on-demand services in the region, has announced the appointment of Tony Saab as Senior Vice President, Content and Strategic Partnerships.
In this role, Saab will be responsible for developing and implementing a content acquisition and original production strategy, which will further support Starzplay’s growing library of original content and programming.
This includes all aspects of content acquisition, programming and production across all genres, including films, series, documentaries, sports and children’s content. This will mean building and renewing strategic relationships with regional and global players to bring premium content to Starzplay users throughout the Mena region.

Previously, Saab was responsible for content and production at Intigral, overseeing and leading content acquisitions. He has supported the company’s content portfolio for 13 years, managing the operational and technical capabilities of Intigral’s IPTV and OTT broadcast businesses. His previous roles also include Director of Resources for Sharjah Media Corporation and Director of Presentations for Rotana.
