Statistics Center-Abu Dhabi and Mohammed bin Zayed University of Artificial Intelligence launched an executive plan to train leaders in data science and data analysis

Abu Dhabi Statistics Center Statistical Training Institute (SCAD) and Mohamed Bin Zayed University of Artificial Intelligence (MBZUAI) have launched a new training for senior leaders of the Abu Dhabi government and executive directors specializing in this field Plan data science and strategy. His Excellency Ahmed Mahmoud Fikri, Director General of SCAD, said: “The UAE has adopted a data conversion process to maximize data production efficiency and ensure a leading position in this field. We have all seen the recent impact of data models and modern analytical methods on the economy, industry, services, and decision-making processes of the public and private sectors.

Data is a key tool for the work of the Abu Dhabi government, supporting planning and coordination with stakeholders. It is used to formulate detailed work plans to achieve strategic goals. “

He added: “The executive training program will provide participants with knowledge about the differences between data science and analysis, the various processes involved in each branch, the framework for data collection and analysis, completeness, and ethics. It also Participants will be allowed to learn how to design and build data science frameworks and artificial intelligence applications. It introduces the journey of data science and the construction activities of actual working predictive models that can be used to manage and analyze data in the participants’ respective organizations.”

He concluded: “The Leadership Program will not only discuss technology, but will also explore how to improve workforce capabilities and encourage organizations to rely on statistics and data to make informed decisions.”

MBZUAI Executive Vice President of Outreach and Participation Dr. Behjat Al Yousuf said: “One of our main goals at MBZUAI is to contribute to the development of Abu Dhabi’s knowledge-based economy through AI capability building and innovation. During the event, Yacoub Husein Nuseibeh, an expert from the SCAD Insight and Prediction Center, demonstrated the digital platform developed by the center using the latest data and artificial intelligence technology. It is used to transform insights into well-informed operations by collecting data from the public and private sectors and constructing forecast scenarios that affect Abu Dhabi’s economic and demographic characteristics.

Through the latest data visualization and interactive simulation of “what if” scenarios, the new digital platform becomes a tool that enables Abu Dhabi’s leaders to make informed decisions as the country prepares to formulate a national strategy. The next 50 years.

At the meeting, Mohamed Abdullah AlMadhani, Data and Artificial Intelligence Consultant of Abu Dhabi Digital Authority (ADDA), briefed the participants on Abu Dhabi’s data strategy, while Dr. Chawki Tawbi, Executive Officer of IBM Data and Artificial Intelligence, introduced data science standards Operating procedures.

In another presentation, Rima Semaan, head of artificial intelligence and technology at Microsoft Bay, discussed the data analysis process.

The meeting was chaired by Rabaa Mohammed Bani Yas, Dean of the School of Statistics Training, and Dr. Ahmed Dabbagh, Director of Professional Services at MBZUAI. In their presentations, they discussed the skills required for future work in data science and analytics, and organizations will use these skills to accomplish their mission.
