The Abu Dhabi police remind citizens and residents that anyone who violates movement restrictions during the national disinfection plan will be fined Dh3,000.
The capital authorities launched comprehensive Covid safety measures on July 19, which coincides with the first day of Eid al-Adha, including restrictions on traffic and public activities from 12 am to 5 am, when disinfection will be carried out.

How to apply for a mobile permit
>> You can apply for and obtain a mobile license through www.adpolice.gov.ae or the Abu Dhabi Police App (available on Apple and Google Play).
>> No documents are required. Applicants only need to enter their name, mobile phone number and license plate number.
>> Applicants must also mention the specific reasons why they need a permit.
>> Will be approved immediately, unless the applicant selects “other reasons” and then needs to be evaluated.
Exempt
It is forbidden to enter Abu Dhabi from other emirates during the national sterilization program, except for license holders and exempt categories.
The permit holder can take a taxi during the disinfection time. However, other public transportation, such as buses, will not operate.

If you go to your residence from the airport, the public can use the airport taxi service without a permit. However, if you use a private car, you need a license.
