One of the region’s leading music streaming applications is entering the hotel industry. Anghami announced plans to collaborate with Addmind, the team behind White, Clap and Iris, to launch Anghami Lab, an innovative entertainment venue in Dubai.
Anghami Lab will open in early 2022 and will have a lounge, stage and studio. Here, artists can gather to create new music, whether it is Arabic or international music, and upload it to Anghami for exclusive play.
The essence of Anghami’s brand aims to promote Arab and international culture, so even the cuisine served by Anghami Lab will incorporate Arab and international recipes. We are not yet sure whether this space will contain any existing concepts of Addmind.
Addmind CEO Tony Habre added: “Anghami is more than just a streaming platform, they enhance the value of the entire Middle Eastern music industry-Anghami Lab is an amazing and unique concept that reflects our rich Arab culture and international The characteristics of globalization-we are very happy to be able to achieve this goal and expand the scale.”
After its first launch in Dubai next year, Anghami Lab will first expand to Riyadh, then Jeddah, Cairo, Beirut and other global cities such as London, New York and Los Angeles.
