A video shows a student using their iPhone in class and taking a photo of a classmate’s laptop screen, then copying and pasting that person’s work as their own.
This information is currently being widely disseminated on social media. The next steps in the process emphasized that this may be a major problem in the classroom and a problem that critics want Apple to solve. You just need to point the camera at any content that contains text or numbers and take a photo. Next, press and hold a word and move it to the part of the text you want to copy, click “Copy” and “Select All”. Finally, you paste the information into your Notes application or any other location you want to save.
The “real-time text” function is also applicable to foreign language texts because it can be easily translated. In addition, this new feature, which is only available in iOS 15, applies to photos already on the iPhone, or you can take new photos directly from the camera.
As of now, Apple has not publicly responded to features used for cheating.
