Sujata Arora, Founder and CEO at Hire Indians Infotech Pvt Ltd, Bollywoodkart and EIBIL.

Today we have selected Sujata Arora to take her interview. She is the Founder and CEO at Hire Indians Infotech Pvt Ltd, Bollywoodkart and EIBIL.

  1. Sujata Arora, First of all, how are you and your team doing in these COVID-19 times?

Thank you for giving us an opportunity to share our stories. Since the last 1.5 years, COVID-19 has had a significant impact on the technology sector all around the globe. Hire Indians Infotech is remotely providing uninterrupted and hassle-free services to all its global clients. As the well-being and health of our employees have always been our top priority, we all are strictly following a remote work model. We have been making use of all the latest online platforms to hold team and client meetings. Having operated as a remote software company for the last 10 years, we have mastered the art of working from home.

  1. Tell us about you, your career, how you founded or joined this company?

While working as the Sales Head in a Software Development Company, I got a lot of chances to travel abroad and interact with clients. During my stay in these countries, I found that there is a huge shortage of technical skills and it is very difficult to hire and fire an employee because of strict government regulations. Whereas, we have enough technical manpower in India but we are short of good projects. I initially thought of supplying Indian manpower to these companies but later came to know about many hurdles in getting visas and travel. This is how an idea came to my mind of providing remote developers and that gave birth to Hire Indians in 2009.

  1. What services your company provide?

We provide virtual employees to companies in UAE, USA, UK, Australia, and Europe. Most of these virtual employees are technical people experts in different technologies. We provide fix cost services like website design, mobile app development, and custom software development services, Said Sujata Arora.

  1. How does your company innovate?

We have expertise working with innovative technology stacks and have given efficient solutions to clients all around the globe. We work on the latest technologies like Blockchain, Machine Learning, IoT, AR, VR, etc. We have developed various solutions like an OTT platform, Learning Management System, HR Management System, etc.

  1. How the coronavirus pandemic affects your business, and how are you coping?

The Covid-19 disruption has caused an acceleration in working remotely to de-risk the end-to-end supply chain. While many industries have come to a stop due to the unavailability of the workforce at the official site, Hire Indians Infotech is remotely providing uninterrupted and hassle-free services to all its global clients. Like others, we have been impacted but things are improving slowly.

  1. Sujata Arora, Did you have to make difficult choices, and what are the lessons learned?

I think we were lucky as this pandemic gave us opportunities to learn and grow. Our talented team of employees has provided their unconditional support to help us stand on our ground.

  1. What specific tools, software, and management skills are you using to navigate this crisis?

We were already using Google Workspace, MS Teams, and Project management tools eg. DeskTime, Jira, Asana, etc.

  1. Who are your competitors? And how do you plan to stay in the game?

I think each company is unique and doing its best to grow. The competition is high so we should always try to challenge and compete ourselves to provide the best solutions.

  1. What are Your Final Thoughts Sujata Arora
