Survivor season 44 will pit 18 contestants against themselves in a battle to outwit, outwit and outwit each other.

Yam Yam is a salon owner from Puerto Rico. He has dreamed of playing Survivor since he was 13 and wanted to prove that he had the physical and mental strength to win. Yam Yam compared his game to Cirie Fields and believes he will win Survivor as the stars have lined up for him.
Carson Garrett
Carson is a 20-year-old NASA engineering student from Atlanta, Georgia, with a strong background in strategy. He obsessively studied the evolution of game theory in Survivor, which he believed would help him win the game. Carson plans to use his emotional intelligence, logical thinking and kindness to become the youngest survivor winner and take home a million dollar check.

Bruce Perot
Bruce has a competitive and dynamic personality which he feels may help him meet challenges. He values the loyalty of his alliance partners and wants to work with someone who sees survivors as a game.
Sarah Wade
Sarah is a strategic management consultant from Chicago who enjoys the outdoors, beach volleyball, and raw food. She believes she can be the only survivor by being a bold and badass player who knows the game and the people well enough.
Helen Lee
Helen has always been a huge fan of Survivor and sees it as the ultimate challenge. She values the loyalty of her alliance partners, and plans to adapt her game to the in-game dynamics in order to manipulate everything without anyone realizing it’s her.

Claire is a 25-year-old tech investor from Highland Park, Illinois. She’s dreamed of being a survivor since she was four, and thinks growing up as a queer black Jewish woman prepared her for the social and strategic games of survivor. She values the loyalty of her coalition partners and identifies most with past winners Michelle Fitzgerald and Natalie Anderson.
Matt Blankinship
Matt, a 27-year-old security software engineer from Albany, California, believes that failing at things like going to college and finding a job prepared him for Survivor. He values open and frank communication among coalition partners and is eager to combine Yul’s listening and consensus-building skills with Maryanne’s silliness and energy.

Danny Massa
Danny is a New York City firefighter who values kindness and compassion. He is proud of his work as a firefighter and considers kindness to be his greatest achievement. He said his mother and sister were his biggest inspirations because they both faced major challenges and overcame them with strength and resilience.

A first-generation immigrant, Heidi had to learn and adapt to a new country on her own, and she believes the resulting resilience and resourcefulness can help her in the game. Matthew loves the outdoors and a unique childhood taught him to love nature and people. His greatest inspiration is his husband, who attributes his success to his family.
Jamie Lynn Ruiz
Becoming a Survivor has been a lifelong dream for Jaime Lynn, and she believes her experience working in corporate America has prepared her for the social game of Survivor. She values the loyalty of her alliance partners and will prioritize relationship building in the game.
Kane Fritzler
Kane, who claims to be a gamer, has been watching “Survivor” since he was a child. His greatest inspiration is his mother, who taught him the importance of family and is the strongest person he has ever known.
Brandon Cotton
Brandon is an easygoing and confident safety professional from Newtown, PA with a background in professional football. He values good communication and predictability from his league partners and is proudest playing for the Seattle Seahawks.
