Swatch launches third countdown clock at Dubai Mall – Dubai Blog

Only two months before the 2020 Dubai Expo, the official timing supplier Swatch has launched a third countdown clock and four new special edition watches in Dubai.

The new watches include HEKMAH (English meaning “wisdom”), which uses a biologically derived case, a matte black strap with a calligraphic structure and a dial with Arabic fonts; AL-WASL (English translated as “connected”), its The face is decorated with the golden logo of Expo 2020 Dubai, which is inspired by the 4000-year-old ring found in the archaeological site of Dubai desert; and two children’s Flik Flak watches, proudly displaying the mascot of Expo 2020, the curious La Tifa and the brave Rashid.

In addition to the countdown clock, the four physical stores will further strengthen Swatch’s position in Expo 2020. Located in Welcome Plaza and Opportunity, Mobility and Sustainability areas, each store has a different focus, including Swatch and art, Swatch as a brand, and innovative SwatchPAY! Technology, and the brand’s use of bio-innovative materials.
