talabat officially launches its two-story, 1,900-square-meter “talabat kitchen” at Expo 2020 – Dubai Blog

Talabat, the region’s leading online food and q-commerce delivery platform and the official food delivery provider for Expo 2020, today celebrated the completion of its innovative and state-of-the-art “talabat kitchen” at the ribbon-cutting ceremony of Expo 2020.

The “talabat kitchen” is located near Jubilee Park in the sustainable development zone. It was officially launched by Ammar Albarzanji, Senior Vice President of Finance and Business for Expo 2020, and Onur Elgun, Vice President of Strategy for Talabat Middle East and North Africa. After the ribbon cutting, the first order was placed in the “talabat kitchen” and the first batch of coffee provided by the robot barista to the participants.

Representatives from talabat at Expo 2020 as well as talabat restaurants and technical partners including Kitopi, GrubTech, Terminus and DG World attended the ribbon-cutting ceremony.

In addition, talabat revealed the technology deployed in its kitchen and the different delivery methods introduced for the first time at Expo 2020, as the brand is ready to serve millions of tourists-from automated delivery robots to electric scooters and smart food and groceries Lockers.
