Injazat, the UAE’s homegrown technology champion in digital transformation, cloud and cybersecurity, announced the win of Taqa Group’s digital transformation project.
The contract was formalized at a ceremony signed with Injazat CEO Ussama Dahabiyeh and Taqa Group Executive Director of Transmission and Distribution Omar Al Hashmi, Abu Dhabi’s recognized champion in low carbon power and hydropower, among the top 10 of integrated utilities companies in the EMEA region.
Taqa selected Injazat from a number of competitive international bidders, laying the foundation for Taqa to become a digital utility company by modernizing its IT infrastructure. The program’s workflow will address risks, provide new competencies, and improve employees’ skills in new technologies. Injazat will also create long-term value for Taqa by optimizing the system and enhancing the customer experience.
