Tawdheef returns to Abu Dhabi with new vision to boost careers for UAE nationals

Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates –()– The annual Tawdheef exhibition will return to Abu Dhabi from 14-16 November with a renewed focus on helping UAE nationals develop their careers and connect with the country’s leading businesses and organisations.

This year, the main objective of the exhibition is to support young Emiratis as they develop in their careers and discover new opportunities in the corporate world and entrepreneurship.

Fadi Harb, Events Manager at Informa Middle East, said: “Tawdheef has always been seen as a recruitment event and while these opportunities still exist, we want to do much more than that. We want to create a space where Emiratis can come and learn about the latest Industry trends, gain insight into upcoming job market opportunities and connect with leading businesses and organisations. This move is part of our commitment to support career development in Abu Dhabi and across the UAE,” commented Harb.

What’s New in Tawdheef 2022

Aligned with UAE Vision 2021, Tawdheef gives UAE attendees the opportunity to learn about various career paths, receive advice from industry experts, and network with potential employers. By simply registering, visitors can take advantage of innovative and thoughtfully designed experiences to help their careers through empowerment stages, pioneering platforms and career preparation workshops.

Some notable exhibitors include UAE Central Bank, Etisalat, National Marine Dredging Company, Al Fahim Group and Al Masaood Group, among others.

Sharifa Alfahim, Head of Shared Services at Al Fahim Group, said Tawdheef’s new vision is fully in line with their goal of supporting Emiratis to take their careers to the next level.

Support the UAE’s 2026 Emiratisation goals

For private sector companies participating in the exhibition, Tawdheef is their gateway to their UAEisation goals, in line with the UAE Cabinet’s decision to increase the UAEisation rate of private sector institutions to 10% by 2026.
