Taylor Swift has expressed her anger and frustration that fans are spending hours trying to buy tickets for her next year’s tour.

She posted a story on Instagram, writing: “I’m not going to make excuses for anyone because we’ve asked them multiple times if they can handle this demand and we’re sure they can.

“It’s awesome that 2.4 million people got tickets, but it annoys me that a lot of them felt like they had to go through a couple of bear attacks to get their tickets.”

Of those who fell short, Swift said she wanted to “give us more opportunities to get together and sing these songs.”

Fans trying to snag tickets during the pre-sale of Swift’s Time Tour on Tuesday were met with massive delays and misinformation, which Ticketmaster blamed on bots and unprecedented demand.

It was the most tickets sold on the platform in a single day, the company said in a statement.

The public sale, scheduled for Friday, was canceled the day before.

Some fans wondered why Swift didn’t speak up sooner.

On Instagram, the pop star didn’t address the timing issue, but said she had a trust issue with her fans’ experience, trying to keep many elements of her career in-house.

“I really have a hard time trusting the outside entities that have these relationships and allegiances, and it pains me to see mistakes happen with no recourse,” Swift said.

In addition to Tuesday’s nightmare, Ticketmaster cited “extremely high demand on the ticketing system and insufficient remaining ticket inventory to meet that demand” as the reason for canceling Friday’s sale.

Earlier this month, Swift wrapped up one of the biggest album releases of her career, announcing she would be embarking on a new U.S. stadium tour to be followed by international shows.

Fans who received a special code after signing up will be able to purchase tickets exclusively on Tuesday.

Those who didn’t get a ticket were put on a waiting list.

The 52-day Eras Tour kicked off March 17 in Glendale, Arizona and concluded with five shows in Los Angeles on August 9.

This is Swift’s first tour since 2018.
