Team ‘A’ will travel to the UAE on 1 October

The Bangladesh ‘A’ team will travel to the United Arab Emirates on October 1 for two four-day and five one-day matches against their Afghan opponents.

As part of the preparations for the tour, the Bangladesh Cricket Board is expected to hold a two-week training camp on September 15 or 16 at the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium.

“We want to have a two-week training camp before the team leaves the SBNCS. Bangladesh ‘A’ will play Afghanistan in two four-day and five-over 50 games. The BCB official told New Age.

He further added that due to his poor form, former Bangladesh Test captain Mominul Haque will be included in the squad which is expected to be announced soon.

“Mominul Haque and several test members will be included in the ‘A’ team heading to the UAE.”

In early August, the Bangladesh ‘A’ team visited the West Indies for a similar number of unofficial four-day and three one-day matches against their Caribbean counterparts, their three-year run since September-October 2019. first overseas tour.

However, on their trip to the West Indies, the visitors drew in two four-day matches and a three-match one-day series drew 1-1 after being knocked out in the first.
