Temperatures are approaching 50°C this week

It’s getting hotter in here…

I think we can all agree that this winter has been great for us…but it can only mean one thing – summer is going to be a hot one.

Every year, temperatures in the UAE sometimes even hit the boiling 50°C mark. And, we hate being bearers of bad news, but that dreadful moment is fast approaching, maybe this week…

Here’s a tweet from the National Center of Meteorology (NCM) with this week’s forecast.

According to the NCM, temperatures will reach as high as 44°C in Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Ras Al Khaimah on Tuesday, June 6. Al Ain will continue to face high temperatures throughout the week, fluctuating between 43°C and 44°C.

Fujairah’s hottest day of the week will drop to 45°C on Friday.

The NCM also estimates that June’s average temperature will be around 34.5°C, while humidity levels will average around 70%.

So, what is the hottest temperature ever recorded in the UAE?
