Terra Tech, a leading B2B-focused micro-mobility technology startup offering electric scooters with swappable battery solutions, has announced that its first batch of electric scooters has arrived at its warehouse in Al Quoz, Dubai.
This marks a major milestone for the startup as it supports the UAE’s Year of Sustainable Development. The company also plans to accelerate the country’s progress toward emissions-free targets ahead of the 28th Conference of the Parties (COP 28) later this year.
The arrival of Terra’s first fleet of electric motorcycles brings the company one step closer to deploying vehicles on UAE roads and making electric vehicles a local last-mile industry reality. The motorcycle and its replaceable battery have been developed and tested to withstand the harsh heat conditions of the UAE, extending battery life and reducing the need for frequent battery changes.
“We are delighted to launch our first electric motorcycles, marking the next important phase of growth for our business. With our bikes undergoing final testing, our focus has shifted to working with the UAE’s last mile field. Prominent partners seal the deal. The response to our solution has been positive and many partners are eager to invest in the future,” said Hussam Zammar, Founder and Managing Director of Terra. – trade arab news agency
