[ad_1]

It was less than 24 hours before the triathletes got their seats on the starting line of the 2021 TriYAS held by ADNOC. Participants Richard Backhouse and Jana Ramahi had an in-depth understanding of community activities.

Richard Backhouse (Richard Backhouse), ready to participate in his 10dayTriYAS commented: “TriYAS is the first time I have participated in a triathlon competition in history. This is an introduction to the sport. Since then, I have started to enjoy different events and distances in the UAE and overseas, so naturally , I have always been interested in TriYAS.

“The location and the stadium itself are spectacular, the logistics is very simple, and the facilities are first-rate. Come back every year, which proves to a certain extent that I have continued to exercise for 10 years. My attitude is that if I can do it, I will do it.”

TriYAS provided by ADNOC has always been a highlight of the Abu Dhabi community calendar. With the latest changes in government guidelines, event organizers are now happy to welcome people over 60 to participate in this year’s event.

Now athletes of all ages and abilities have 24 hours to sign up for this year’s TriYAS, which is currently one of the largest triathlon events on the UAE’s 2021 calendar.

Now at its 11day One year, ADNOC launched TriYAS to attract contestants to perform challenging physical tests consisting of three elements of swimming, cycling and running on their bodies.

This year’s event has nine different categories, including the new Duathlon Sprint, which includes a 5 km run and a 21 km bike ride, and then ends with another run, this time a distance of 2.5 km.

Participants who wish to participate in individual competitions can choose the sprint, Olympic or super sprint categories, but if you prefer to participate as a member of a team, you can choose the sprint team relay or the Olympic team relay option.

There will be two youth events in 2021. The first is a youth triathlon, including 200-meter swimming, 10 kilometers cycling and 2.5 kilometers running, open to children aged 10-16. The second TriKIDS activity will be open to children aged 8-14, including 100m swimming, 5km cycling and 1.5km running.

Also returning in 2021 is the UAE triathlete Jana Ramahi. She will participate in her second TriYAS competition. She commented: “After participating in my first TriYAS, I have already told many of my friends and family members. I recommended it and told them what an interesting and well-organized event was, that’s why I came back for the second time.”

October 15day, More than 800 triathletes will participate in the starting line of all abilities from the elite to participating in the first triathlon competition. TriYAS has always been more than just a triathlon. Members of the local community and other regions gather to enjoy a fun-filled day in the sun, surrounded by like-minded people who are willing to push their bodies to their limits and achieve personal goals.

The activity starts from the first activity at 6:20 in the morning. Due to the high temperature, there will be a break between the morning and afternoon meetings. Participants can pick up the competition package at TrainYAS from 6 pm to 9 pm on Tuesday, October 12.

Registration will end on Tuesday, October 12.

The event will be open to audiences who can provide green passes
