Stanley Kubrickof shining At number four, the 1980 film was praised for its terrifying visuals and rich symbolism, and it’s still being analyzed to this day.
Rounding out the top five is the 2014 sequel it followsAccording to reports, the film ushered in “the era now known as ‘The Horror on the High'”. Condorcalling the film “an unforgettable genre piece”.
