Many familiar faces pop up in the trailer for The Flash, including Michael Keaton and Ben Affleck’s Batman, Michael Shannon’s General Zod and Sasha Culler’s Maiden of Steel.

With a three-minute glimpse into the film 10 years in the making, The Flash reverses time to the point where we see him embark on a quest to save his mother from death (a must for all The Flash movies and shows). When Barry travels back in time, he is helped by other superheroes such as Superman who doesn’t exist in this universe, such as Iron Maiden (played by Sasha Culler), and two versions of Batman – played by Michael Keaton and Ben Affleck.
Fans will be especially excited to see the lines Zack Snyder penned with Man of Steel more than a decade ago, as Michael Shannon’s villainous General Zod (General Zod) takes over command in a brief appearance in the trailer. Ultimately, Barry’s only hope is to race for his life in order to save the world he’s in and return to the future he knows. But is making the ultimate sacrifice enough to reset the universe? “
Not only is The Flash significant for its multiverse storyline, but new head James Gunn has decided to roll the dice to bring the controversial Ezra Miller back to life as the titular character. Miller has been embroiled in a sea of ​​legal battles ever since he was allegedly involved in a battery and grooming case.
The Flash, directed by Andrés Muschietti, hits theaters on June 16 this year.
