The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia showcases the inspirational experience waiting for tourists in its stunning Expo Pavilion – Dubai Blog

In less than two months, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is preparing to welcome the world to its most advanced pavilion at Expo 2020 Dubai. At the Saudi Pavilion-the second largest pavilion after the UAE-visitors will experience Saudi Arabia’s rich past, vibrant present and hopeful future.

A 68-square-meter curved LED screen greets visitors as they embark on a technical journey through the five ecosystems, suggesting the kingdom’s natural spaces, beautiful coasts, vast deserts, surrounding oceans and mountains. The journey will pass through the flora of the Alba Dani Valley in the Asir region to reach the majestic mountains of Tabuk, from the sand dunes in the open areas of southeastern Saudi Arabia to the clear waters of the Red Sea.

Visitors to the Saudi Pavilion will experience 14 cultural landmarks along the stunning escalator. These include acclaimed UNESCO World Heritage sites such as the At-Turaif district in Ad-Diriyah, the Hegra archaeological site in AlUla, the historical site of Jeddah, the rock art of the Hail region and the Al-Ahsa Oasis.

Through audiovisual guides, guests can explore 23 other destinations, including the world’s leading gigabit projects, which are rewriting the possibilities of sustainable development, such as Chidiya, Diriye Gate and King Salman Park.

Afterwards, visitors will enter “Vision”, a unique art exhibition curated by famous Saudi artists. Highlights include a 30m floating virtual sphere and a customized interactive floor.

Finally, the pavilion will lead visitors to the “Discovery Center”, where an innovative platform will connect leaders from all over the world to establish exciting partnerships and discuss investment opportunities, and through Saudi Arabia’s interactive digital map Visualize.

People, opportunity, nature and heritage are the four pillars of the 13,000-square-meter Kingdom Pavilion visitor experience; integrating adventure into one of the most sustainable buildings at Expo 2020 Dubai. It has obtained the LEED Platinum certification issued by the United States Green Building Council (USGBC), which is the highest internationally recognized sustainability rating for energy and environmental design leadership.

In addition, the pavilion also holds three Guinness World Records: the largest interactive lighting floor with about 8,000 LED lights, the longest interactive water feature over 32 meters, and the largest LED interactive digital mirror screen of 1302.5 square meters.

Expo 2020 Dubai is an opportunity to reconnect, meet new people and discover new horizons. The people of Saudi Arabia are happy to open their doors and allow tourists to experience their famous hospitality firsthand.
