The National Aquarium will house the largest collection of sharks in the region

[ad_1]

But thank goodness, no one has a laser beam on their head…

The well-stocked Shark Tank is not just a sanctuary for evil villains on Skull Island.

National AquariumLocated in the upcoming major leisure and entertainment project in Abu Dhabi, Al Qana has now completed more than 90%.

When it opens to the public, it will become the largest aquarium in the Middle East, housing the largest and most diverse sharks and rays in the region.

A wide variety of aquatic animals

Every week can be Shark Week at the National Aquarium. The Conservation Center provides habitat for more than 200 sharks and rays, which are composed of 25 species. This is worth making a loud noise.

This sunken metropolis will also be the only place in the UAE where you can see the critically endangered fan-shaped hammerhead shark in prehistoric appearance. It is also the only place to see aquatic life, one of which is the darkest reputation, the bull shark. Be able to access your nightmare from salt water and fresh water.

Other sharks and rays residents include sand tiger sharks, lemon sharks, zebra sharks, blacktip reef sharks, eagle rays, shovel-nosed rays, bullnose rays, freshwater rays, etc.

The reality is of course that sharks are a collection of extremely misunderstood species, many of which are currently included in the endangered animal list due to overfishing.

The National Aquarium aims to dispel some of Hollywood’s long-standing myths and provide educational experiences and special “shark encounters.”

Paul Hamilton, General Manager of the National Aquarium Said: “We can’t wait for this year’s opening to showcase our series of animals and animal-related activities. In general, people are afraid of sharks and we want to celebrate these fascinating creatures that are vital to the health of the ocean.”

“We hope that through personal interaction, the aquarium will help people overcome any fears and perceptions they may have. Most importantly, we look forward to providing our visitors with unparalleled and unforgettable edutainment during each visit. Experience.”

When will it open?

There is still no official, confirmed date-but with construction so close to completion, don’t expect to open in 2021.
