Umm Al Emarat Park opened the first open-air market The Park Market, which will be held every Friday and Saturday until the end of March.

The Park Market was launched on December 2, 2021, with about 24 retailers participating, bringing the community together to experience a fun family day full of local food, merchandise and entertainment. Through cooperation with Silal Fresh, a newly established fresh produce and agricultural technology company in Abu Dhabi, Park Market will provide locally grown organic fruits and vegetables to further create value for local agricultural products, enhance the status of local farmers, and promote sustainable shopping .

Visitors can also look forward to experiencing a variety of gourmet dining options and enjoying homemade retail products such as unique family handmade products, boutique fashions for adults and children, and custom jewelry. Healthy group discussions, art exhibitions, family-friendly entertainment, fitness and health classes, and artists, designers and local talents who will showcase their art are all on the park market calendar to ensure that everyone has a lot of fun about!

Rasha Kablawi, Head of Corporate Affairs and Communications at Umm Al Emarat Park, said: “With the cool weather coming to the UAE, friends and family now seek to spend most of their leisure time outdoors, which is why we are very happy to be able to work with Silal Fresh. Host our own outdoor park market. One of Silal’s main pillars is to promote the UAE’s long-term sustainable development agenda, which is closely related to our spirit of being a green paradise in the heart of Abu Dhabi, so the cooperation is a perfect fit.”

Kablawi added: “The park market follows an all-organic approach, using products grown and raised directly from local organic farmers. In addition, sustainable pop-up boutiques, arts and crafts stations, and children-friendly entertainment are also part of the plan. To please tourists of all ages.”

The Park Market welcomes visitors every Friday and Saturday from 4pm to 11pm. To learn more about the Park Market, please visit: https://www.ummalemaratpark.ae/en/What-s-Happening/The-Park-Market
