The Philippines extends travel bans in the UAE and 6 other countries until July 31-News

The task of the country’s inter-agency task force is to review travel agreements.

The Philippine government announced on Wednesday that it would extend the ban on travelers from the UAE and six other countries.

Presidential spokesman Harry Roque said that the Philippine Inter-Agency Task Force has now been mandated to review the agreement and recommend testing and quarantine procedures for travelers from seven countries.

In order to help Filipinos stranded in the UAE, the Philippine government has been organizing Repatriation flight, Priority will be given to medical patients and pregnant women without medical insurance, families with children, and those with expired/expired visas.

Filipinos who wish to apply for repatriation can send an email to the Philippine Embassy (the Embassy of the Philippines in Abu Dhabi is atn6abudhabi@gmail.com, and the Consulate General of the Philippines in Dubai is atn@pcgdubai.ae).

“Embassies and consulates ask Filipinos to shelve plans to go home unless absolutely necessary,” the mission said in a previous statement.
