Dubai’s ultra-luxury resort, Atlantis The Royal, has kicked off its exclusive grand opening weekend with ‘Dream Feast’, featuring six world-renowned chefs serving gourmet cuisine at the new resort’s restaurants this February .
Crafted by world-leading designers, architects and artists, the new resort brings together some of the world’s most recognizable faces for three days of ultra-luxury curated events and experiences during its Grand Reveal Weekend.
Guests joined in a once-in-a-lifetime culinary feast, toasting the opening of eight new celebrity chef restaurants at The Royal Atlantis led by Nobu Matsuhisa, Jose Andres, Costas Spiliadis, Ariana Bundy, Queen Haute Couture Cakes Mich Turner and Gaston Acurio all under one roof for just one night.
VIP guests from all over the world gather at Gastronomy, the resort’s unrivaled culinary experience, featuring numerous live cooking stations offering a treasure trove of culinary masterpieces from around the world. Grand Reveal Weekend guests will be the first to experience the eclectic dining options on offer to guests before The Royal Atlantis officially opens to guests this February.
The specially curated “Fantasy Feast” menu offers guests delicacies from around the world, including blue lobster from Peruvian restaurant La Mar, Wagyu Bresaola Sicilian-style pizza from the hotel’s world-class pizzeria, and a wide variety of sushi from Seven Seas Sushi Counter inside Gastronomy (with full Dream Feast menu).
To satisfy their sweet tooth, guests were invited to end their evening with delicious treats from Little Venice Cake Company, Mich Turner MBE, baker who supplies royals and global celebrities with pastries and breads. The world-renowned selection includes desserts such as Raspberry and Rose Cream Cake, Caramel Shortbread, and the giant Grand Reveal Weekend Celebration Cake presented to Royal Atlantis by Turner to mark the resort’s eagerly awaited opening.
The cake weighs 1 metric ton, is 5 feet high and 4 feet wide, and can seat 1,200 guests after baking. The cake has seven layers and is decorated with 25 handmade sugar birds and 80 hand-painted butterflies. It took 7 pastry chefs 6 days Finish.
Friday night’s “Dream Feast” marks the start of a special and unique weekend ahead of the resort’s official opening. Guests are invited to enjoy the hotel’s ultra-luxury service and a curated itinerary of events and experiences, including Saturday night’s spectacular performance by 29-time Grammy Award-winning artists – more details will be announced tomorrow.
Altogether, the 17 world-class restaurants and bars at The Royal Atlantis not only offer guests an unparalleled culinary experience, but also welcome guests to a dizzying array of unforgettable entertainment venues, including Cloud 22, an outdoor entertainment space, featuring a poolside bar and a sparkling head-shaped DJ booth, as well as the world-famous signature Ling, a contemporary pan-Asian restaurant offering the ultimate day-to-night experience.
