Escape to a beautiful beach oasis…
When you are fed up with endless skyscrapers and fast-paced life, it is good to know that an amazing mountain oasis a few hours from downtown Dubai is waiting for you. The extremely popular and unique Six Senses Zighy Bay in Musandam Oman finally reopened on October 15.
This beautiful resort is located at the foot of some magnificent mountains on the Musandam Peninsula in Oman, on an idyllic beach. The resort focuses on sustainable development, and the four- and three-bedroom beachfront villas named The Reserve and Retreats have been refurbished. There are a total of 82 aboriginal style pool villas.
Not only can you spend time in this peaceful oasis, but getting there is also a real journey. Since Dibba’s checkpoint is still closed to tourists, you will need to drive to the Al Dhara border (approximately two hours’ drive from Dubai), where the resort’s 4×4 vehicle will be waiting to take you on a three-hour off-road tour.

To enter the resort, all guests must provide proof of a negative PCR test within 72 hours of arriving at the border. Once the border restrictions at the Dibba checkpoint are relaxed, the resort will resume the original pick-up service, which includes your choice to arrive by paraglider.
General Manager Andrew Spearman said: “We are all very happy to welcome guests back to the resort. During the long 18 months, we could not see and share the smiles, laughter and surprises of guests when they visited, so we can’t wait Want to go back to what we do best and provide memories that will last a lifetime.
We worked very hard to maintain the resort during the closure, and we look forward to showing it to familiar faces and new guests. This will be a new chapter in the story of Six Senses Zighy Bay. “
