The UAE tops the list of Arab youth’s favorite places to live for ten consecutive years-News

According to the 13th edition of the annual Asda’a BCW Arab Youth Survey released on Tuesday, the UAE has been the preferred place of residence for Arab youth for 10 consecutive years.

Not only that, nearly half of Arab youths also hope that their country will emulate the UAE.

The survey results show that nearly half (47%) of people want to live in the UAE, 19% choose the United States, and 15% choose Canada. About half (46%) also stated that the UAE is the country they most want their country to follow, followed by the United States (28%), Canada and Germany (both 12%).

The annual survey was conducted among 3,400 nationals of Middle East and North Africa countries in 17 Arab countries, aged between 18 and 24. The survey was conducted from June 6 to June 30, 2021, and the male to female ratio was 50:50.

Nearly half of young Arabs (47%) chose the UAE as their favorite place of residence, more than twice the number of votes received by the United States, the second-ranked country in the survey. When emphasizing the main characteristics of the UAE, the Arab youth pointed out that the country’s growing economy, wide range of opportunities, clean environment, safety and security, and generous salary packages make the country stand out in the Arab world.

The results of the annual survey found that nearly two-thirds (62%) of UAE youth want to live a better life than their parents, and a staggering 99% believe that their country’s economy is moving in the right direction. One proportion is 97%. year.

In addition, all UAE young men and women surveyed this year stated that their voices are important to the country’s leadership. This is another encouraging discovery to commemorate the country’s jubilee year.

“National pride is clearly a theme of our survey results in the UAE. 41% of UAE respondents stated that their nationality is at the core of their identity, which is more than twice the regional average.
