The United Arab Emirates is a symbol of Arab creativity

Sultan Al Neyadi’s spacewalk on Friday marked another milestone for the UAE’s space programme. Sudan, along with fellow International Space Station (ISS) astronaut Stephen Bowen from NASA, maintains the ISS, which remains a challenge even after more than half a century of the international space program .

President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed hailed Neyadi’s breakthrough as well as the progress made by the Mars probe Hope and lunar rover Rashid for marking the progress made by the UAE’s space programme. He said: “With this week’s new discoveries by the Hope probe, the achievements of the Rashid rover mission and the first spacewalk by Arab astronaut Sultan Al Neyadi, the UAE continues to make meaningful contributions to space exploration and scientific advancement. ”

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid, Vice President and Ruler of Dubai, expressed pride in Sultan Neyadi’s feat: “First Emirati to walk in outer space, first Arab, first Muslim. Proud to do so.” His Highness Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohammed, Crown Prince of Dubai, said: “The UAE’s space program has achieved a new historic milestone with Sultan Al Neyadi becoming the first Arab to perform a spacewalk.”

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid emphasized that the Arabs have the ability to break new ground. He said. “They say two-thirds of the stars in the sky have Arabic names. Arabs are capable, Arabs are coming, and Arabs can be creative if we decide to focus on science and invest in youth and stay away from division.”

It is indeed a timely reminder that, politically, many Arabic-speaking countries are mired in political strife and economic crisis, and thousands of people are fleeing their homes, whether in Sudan or Syria. The energy of the Arab states can be put to creative, futuristic uses.

The Arabs proved their historical strength during the golden classical period of the Abbasid Caliphate. In Arabs, there is a creative energy hidden waiting to explode. The UAE has set a great example of how this can be achieved by focusing on science and knowledge.

It is one of the few countries in the world that intends to use its economic and human resources for a progressive future. The UAE’s focus remains on knowledge. The UAE invests in libraries and museums to increase the knowledge of the world for its citizens and all expats living in the country. The UAE has become an intellectual metropolis and has done so quietly in the last two decades of the new century.

The UAE is in many ways a newcomer to the space program, and it takes as much pride as the rest of the world, both in space exploration and in sending astronauts into space.

This proves two things. If you have visionary leadership, the country will take the right step into the future, and it will soon be at the forefront. It shows that you don’t have to be in a catch-up race just because you’re late to the race. You get to the front because it’s a matter of talent and dedication. Lunar and Mars rovers were important steps in space exploration.

It was also recognized that space exploration and space travel were not just indulgences for those with money to invest in science. It shows that this has practical implications, with the UAE’s space program aimed at tackling climate change and improving agriculture in the country.
