The Walking Dead: Skybound Entertainment’s spinoffs and future

Big TV hit”walking dead” will wrap up its historic run on AMC this Sunday, but the finale doesn’t mark the end of the franchise.

The Zombie Pleasure brand has a ton of current and upcoming expansions from the production company that birthed it, Skyline Entertainment. CEO david alpertCo-founded the company with show creator Robert Kirkman, who plans to make The Walking Dead for years to come.

Like The Walking Dead, which was originally conceived by Kirkman as a comic book before making the jump to television, Skybound’s other IP was created without any particular medium in mind. “I would say that, historically, production houses have been oriented toward one kind of distribution,” Alpert said. “The TV they make can be on cable or broadcast. The movies they make are going to be in theaters, or they’re streaming now. But our organization is built around IP and connecting creators with every business they want to run.
