Themed Entertainment Association (TEA), A non-profit organization representing fascinating places and experiences around the world, has announced this year’s TEA Masters winners. The 2022 TEA Masters have been selected as Masters in the Attractions Industry and they will be in the Association’s Upcoming SATE Events in Las Vegas.
Presenting this year’s TEA Masters
The 2022 TEA Masters will feature a panel session at SATE Las Vegas, consisting of Adam Bezak Bezark’s international experience creator.
Philip Bloom
The first game of the 2022 Masters is Philip Bloom Amercia Scenic Design, Inc. is in the discipline of ride layout and design. With 35 years of industry experience, former Imagineer Bloom has an established reputation for the development and implementation of technically complex theme park rides.
During his career, Bloom has worked for several high-profile clients including Disney, Universal, Paramount and Warner Bros.He is the co-creator of rides such as Spider-Man Adventures, Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey, Transformers, Ride, Ratatouille Ride, and The rise of the resistance movement.
Bloom founded American Scenic Design Inc. to provide design and consulting services for theme parks, museums, guest experience venues and location-based entertainment developments.
Alfredo Ayala
Next, Alfredo Ayala Walt Disney Imagineering also received honors in theme park technology and animation. Working as an imaginer for 29 years, his influences span multiple fields, including creative design; computer-based media and animatronics; special effects; new projection techniques; and artificial intelligence.
Among his many accomplishments, Ayala developed longer-lasting, more realistic synthetic skin materials for Disney’s audio-animated characters and introduced breakthrough methods for animatronic character programming. He has worked on the animation pipeline for Cars Land at Disney’s California Adventure Park, and animatronics for the complex shaman in Disney’s Animal Kingdom’s Na’vi River Journey.
Ayala also pioneered new imaging and special effects technologies around the park, such as EPCOT’s “Mission: SPACE” optical imaging system. He pioneered the use of advanced projection effects to create the launch environment for Space Mountain and bring to life the ghostly bride of the Disneyland Haunted House.Has 17 patents, well-known at home and abroad disney.
Desiree Soto-Vaughan
Desiree Soto-Vaughan, an independent consultant with 35 years of industry experience, who has received honors in the art direction discipline. She began her career in the 1980s and 1990s as a Character Terminator and Live Art Director at Walt Disney Imagineering, bringing famous animated characters to the real world.Then she moved to common Created in the late 90s and 2000s, she served as art director for the animated characters and props for Men in Black: Alien Attack.
Soto-Vaughn has also served as the art director of the Universal Studios Singapore project and has worked on several independent projects in Asia, such as Imagica in Mumbai, India, and the Chimelong Ocean Kingdom project.
She returned to Disney in 2017 as art director for the Iron Man experience at Hong Kong Disneyland. Soto-Vaughn also provided the integration of art direction, production, installation and display elements for Frozen Ever After and Oaken’s Sliding Sleigh Ride.
David Willridge
at the same time, David Willridge Has been rated as a TEA Master in Technical Systems/Audio-Visual and Multimedia Specialist disciplines. As the founder of DJ Willrich LTD (DJW), he has 36 years of experience in the industry, working with clients to design and develop audio-visual multimedia integrated systems that bring memorable, immersive and engaging worldwide The best guest experience for hotels, museums, theme parks, visitor centers and more.
Willrich was TEA’s International President from 2017 to 2018 and EMEA Division President from 2015 to 2016. He previously served on the TEA International Committee and the TEA EMEA Committee, and co-chaired SATE Europe and SATE Asia.
He has worked on many notable projects, including the National Automobile Museum, Beaulieu and The Shard in the UK; RingWerk, Nürburgring, Germany; St. Louis Arch in St. Louis, Missouri, and The British Music Experience. Several of his projects have been recognised with THEA awards, such as the Titanic Belfast Experience Centre in Belfast, Ski Dubai and the Indigenous Peoples Experience in Edmonton.
Fujita Kimura Takayasu
at last, Fujita Kimura Takayasu, a visionary with 22 years of industry experience with honors in rock carving/design disciplines. A renowned artist and woodcarver from Japan, he started his career in themed environments at Mount Prometheus at Tokyo DisneySea as Art Director for Rock Live.
In addition to his skills as a sculptor, he helped develop the talent base for rock engineering at Shanghai Disney Resort. For over 20 years, he has been training and leading artisans around the world.
He has created monumental steel and concrete sculptural figures for Dubai Land in the United Arab Emirates, tree houses in Hong Kong and Tokyo Disneyland, and Pandora’s Floating Mountain – the world of Avatar in Disney’s Animal Kingdom. He also worked at Cars Land at Disney’s California Adventure Park; Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Disneyland; and The Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Universal Studios Japan.
Currently, he is the Rock Live Art Director for the Neverland attraction in the Fantasy Springs expansion project at Tokyo Disney Resort. He is part of a team of figurative sculptors who will create dozens of sculptural interpretations that incorporate Disney characters into the landscape.

teahouse Las Vegas SATE Events It will be held from October 12th to 15th, 2022. SATE stands for Storytelling + Architecture + Technology = Experience and is the backbone of themed entertainment. The event, TEA’s design conference, will explore these elements and how they can be used to create meaningful places, experiences and events.
