The Dubai Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has announced changes to the names of its two Dubai Metro stations. Al Rashdiya and Al Jaffliya have been selected for conversion, and retail group Landmark now has naming rights.
Al Jaffliya Station will be renamed Max Fashion, and Al Rashdiya Station will be renamed Centrepoint.
RTA launched the Dubai Metro Station Naming Rights Plan in 2009, which is the first in the world. Frequent name changes Along the subway line, they are usually named according to their location or the sponsor who named them.
