The authorities announced that from September 12th, valid UAE residency visa holders who have received WHO-approved vaccination will be allowed to return from countries previously placed on the suspended list.
The Federal Identity and Citizenship Administration (ICA) and the National Emergency Crisis and Disaster Management Agency (NCEMA) said on Friday that even resident visa holders who have stayed abroad for more than six months can now return.

>> Fully vaccinated resident visa holders who have received WHO-approved vaccination and have stayed in a country/region on the suspension list for more than six months since the suspension decision was announced can now use the new entry method Came to the UAE for permission and correct their status after entry.

>> Passengers must complete the vaccination application on the ICA website to obtain the necessary approvals and present the approved vaccination certificate before flying to the UAE.
>> A negative PCR test result must be performed at an accredited laboratory with QR code within 48 hours before departure. It must be handed over to the Emirates before departure.
>> Passengers must undergo a rapid PCR test before boarding, and perform PCR test again on the fourth and eighth days of arrival.
>> Children under 16 years old are exempt from the procedures.
