A celebration of arts and cultural heritage, the 11th Ras Al Khaimah Fine Arts Festival (RAKFAF) will showcase the unique perspectives of creatives from around the world, with a strong emphasis on nature, Ras Al Khaimah’s rich and diverse cultural heritage and its relationship with conservation environment to achieve a sustainable future. Stop by to share your heritage talks, themed weekend programmes, art workshops, music performances, film screenings and more. The event will bring together more than 120 artists from 35 countries who will showcase their work during the festival.

There are always new architectural marvels waiting to be photographed (in!) in Dubai. The newest is the observation deck at Dubai Creek Harbour. Brief – The 70-meter-tall building straddles the Dubai Creek, cantilevering 26 meters above the water, offering unobstructed views across the Creek inland between Downtown Dubai and the Address Grand twin towers. The design and construction of the bridge is done in painted steel to give it the final effect and the unique overall appearance of this one-of-a-kind architectural work. The walkway rises 11.65 meters above the water, offering stunning views of the creek and surrounding areas.

Actor Rogelio Douglas Jr. returns for the weekend at Palazzo Versace Dubai. For just two nights, the American singer, actor and dancer will rock the crowds with his energetic show, mixing Mo-Town, R&B and funk-soul with the likes of Otis Redding, John Legend, Pharrell Williams and more The interpretation is integrated. When he’s not performing live music or working in TV and film, Rogelio makes music in the studio. His music was used on the Discovery Network’s Deadliest Catch; featured on HBO’s “Silicon Valley” and on Fox’s smash hit “Empire.”
