[ad_1]

Autumn is approaching, and what better fits into the new season than the soothing sound of Fugees. Yes, you read that right, roommate. The legendary combination of LaurynHill, Wyclef Jean and Pras Michel will tour together for the first time in 25 years.

The band announced on Tuesday morning that they will conduct a world tour to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the release of their 1996 album “The Score”. The 12-city tour is scheduled to begin at an undisclosed location in New York on Wednesday, September 22. The rest of the tour will continue in Chicago on November 2 and will be held in various cities across the United States before Nigeria and Ghana are recognized.

“Fugees has a complex but far-reaching history,” Lauryn Hill said in a statement. “Until someone caught my attention, I realized that the 25th anniversary has arrived. I decided to create a peaceful platform to commemorate this important project, its anniversary and music fans, where we can unite, Play our favorite music and set an example of reconciliation for the world.”

Wyclef Jean expressed his gratitude for being able to be on stage with his team members after such a long interruption.

“When I celebrated the 25th anniversary with Fugees, my first memory is that we swear that starting from the gate, we will not just make music, we will become a sport,” he said. “We will be the voice of the unheard. In these challenging times, I once again thank God for bringing us together.”
