A Nobu Hotel On the Saadiyat beachfront, private island escape LXR Hotels & Resorts, Mykonos resort by beloved party brand Nammos…these are just three of the upcoming hotels planned for Abu Dhabi. Now a newly opened hotel has caught our attention and we are already dreaming of staying.
Earth Hotels, a new design-conscious, experience-driven boutique hotel brand, has plans to open a stunning resort in Abu Dhabi, among its exciting portfolio of UAE properties. Called Earth Mangroves, the property will open in the capital in the second quarter of 2025 and looks set to be a nature lover’s paradise. While no exact location was given, we do know it will be in one of Abu Dhabi’s lush mangroves.
Dotted among lush mangroves, 50 futuristic-style bungalows will sit stunningly on the waterfront, making them the perfect escape from the city.
In addition to the pod-shaped bungalows, where guests can relax and contemplate, there are community spaces such as the “Sticky Lounge,” the Earth Hotel’s version of the lobby. Here, thrill seekers and adventurers will be able to meet and mingle.There will also be many activities, with website Promising kayaking, paddle boarding, yoga and meditation are just a few of the activities available in Earth’s mangroves.
Another open plan in Ras Al Khaimah
Soon after Abu Dhabi, Earth Hotels will open its second UAE hotel, Earth Shore, on Marjan Island in Ras Al Khaimah. This contemporary beachfront hotel promises vibrant beachside living in 265 rooms. These will range from entry-level resort rooms to GOAT terrace suites and one- and two-bedroom penthouses, all with sustainable designs.
Elsewhere, guests can cool off at the three swimming pools, splash around at the beach club, and dine at the social hub and central bar.
More international job vacancies
Before Abu Dhabi, Earth Hotels’ first property will be located on Portugal’s sun-drenched coast of Porto in late 2024. More hotels are also planned in Saudi Arabia, with a 140-room lifestyle hotel in Jeddah opening in 2024 and 2025, followed by 85 key urban residences in Riyadh in early 2026.
