The following events are planned throughout the region over the next week:
• The Santander Performing Arts Center in Redding will host members of the Chicago Rock and Roll Hall of Fame on Tuesdays at 7:30 pm and Bruce-O-Rama, starring “Ghost” actor Bruce Campbell, on Wednesdays at 7:30 pm The highest-charting American band on Billboard Magazine’s Top 125 Artists of All Time, Chicago is the first American rock band to have a top 40 album for six consecutive decades. Their 38th studio album “Born for This Moment” will be released on July 15th. Bruce-O-Rama opened with “Last Fan Standing,” an interactive quiz on fantasy, horror, sci-fi, superheroes and gaming, followed by a screening of the cult film Campbell. • Glenside’s Keswick Theater in Concert Thursday at 8pm: A tribute to ABBA and a sit-down concert in your city with Sonja Morgan on Saturday at 8pm Mia”, “SOS,” “Money, Money, Money,” “Winner Takes All,” “Waterloo,” “Gimme, Gimme, Gimme,” and “Dancing Queen.” Sonja Morgan is best known for her role in “The Real New York City Housewife”. • SoulJoel Comedy Club in Pottstown Sunnybrook will feature Carmen Lynch on Friday at 8pm, Ryan Shaner’s Philly Takeover will feature some of Philadelphia’s best comedians on Saturday at 7pm, and Lynch will appear on a series of late-night TV shows , including “The Tonight Starring Jimmy Fallon”, “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert” and “Conan.” She also appeared on “Inside Amy Schumer,” “Damn Michael Che,” “Life with Beth” and the documentary “Hysteria.” For tickets and more information, visit website.souljoels.com.
• Hiss Golden Messenger kicks off a busy week with a concert Thursday at 8 pm at the Sellersville Theater and the blues. Sellersville will launch Land of Ozz – the ultimate Land of Ozz experience – at 8 p.m. Friday night in Sellersville. At 2pm on Saturday, the lads from Liverpool – Billy J. Kramer, Terry Sylvester (from Hollies) and Joey Molland (from Badfinger) – presented ‘Songs and Stories’, followed by surf rockers Igor and The Red Elvises , Saturday at 8:00pm and Sunday at 7:30pm, Buskin & Batteau and friends bring their April Fools tour to the stage with special guests Christine Lavin, Shanna in a Dress and John Forster presenting a humorous song. • Ardmore Hall welcomes Marc Broussard and Nicotine Dolls Thursday evening at 8pm. The opening number was well received by critics and fans alike. Aqueous headlines Saturday night at 8pm, with grilled prawns to start. Formed in Buffalo in 2006, Aqueous has built a solid reputation as one of the most up-and-coming jam rock bands in the country. Over the years, the members of Aqueous consisted of old friends who developed an almost psychic ability with one another, allowing them to stretch each song while maintaining astonishing precision. • The Kennett Flash non-profit performing arts organization presents the Blues Reincarnation Project bringing back the blues to a younger generation with the Blues Reincarnation Project on Fridays at 8pm and Anthony “Turk” Cannon at Saturdays at 8pm.
