University of London International Foundation Year (Medicine)
As part of the partnership, Thumbay Group’s Gulf Medical University (GMU) will host the University of London International Foundation Year (Medicine) at the Thumbay Medicity campus, with a focus on medicine.
Known as the University of London International Foundation Year (Medicine), the nine-month program is designed to provide students with a special pathway into a variety of undergraduate degrees including Medicine, Dentistry, Veterinary Science, Physiotherapy, Nursing, Midwifery , pharmacy and nutrition.

The Foundation Year, to be taught at GMU, offers a unique advantage by providing comprehensive preparation for the BMAT and UCAT exams, an important prerequisite for medical and dental courses in the UK and other countries. On successful completion of this tailor-made programme, students will receive a University of London Certificate of Completion and an International A-Level Certificate from LRN-UK. In addition, there will be extensive guidance and support for the UCAT and BMAT exams.
