Tina Turner worried her son Ronnie would be like her abusive husband Ike Turner.
Affidavit Turner, daughter-in-law of the late music legend – who was married to Ronnie from 2007 until his death last December – revealed the “What’s Love Got To Do With It” singer confided in her about Ronnie Possibly inherited his father’s fearful violent tendencies.

“He worked so hard to keep me. It was hard at first because I didn’t want to be with him.”
Afida also shed light on Tina, who died this week at the age of 83 after battling health conditions including strokes and kidney failure in her final years.
She said: “She was sick for a long time, but she was also exceptionally strong. From 2017 until now, she has been fighting for her life. We know how sick she is, but she is doing well, which It was unexpected.”
Afida explained how Tina’s plight was exacerbated by the tragic deaths of her two sons following her eldest son Craig’s suicide in 2018.
She said: “If you lose a child, or a loved one, you cry every morning and every night.
“They never had time to spend together and now all three of them are together.”
