The combined Lewy Body Dementia Support Group and Aiken Alzheimer’s Support Group December meetings will be held jointly Thursday at the Leslie Price Senior and Youth Center. This free public seminar is an outreach support session for caregivers, healthcare professionals, and family members of patients with a diagnosis of Lewy Body Dementia (with or without atypical Parkinson’s), Parkinson’s Disease Dementia, Alzheimer’s Disease and/or Related Dementias.

The Night of 1,000 Lights will be held Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. in downtown Aiken. This festive evening will include Santa, carolers and luminaries throughout downtown.

The City of Aiken Parks, Recreation & Tourism Department will host the 34th annual Downtown Tree Lighting on Friday, Dec. 2 from 6 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. This event will occur on Newberry Street Festival Center in Historic Downtown Aiken.
