Top destination for honeymoon in Kyushu, Japan

[ad_1]

From stunning sunsets to hypnotic immersive art, from aerial adventures to castles you can call your own, the southern Japanese island of Kyushu is a great option for those looking to add more color to their romantic getaway.

Tokyo-based visual arts collective TeamLab has long been known for creating stunning backdrops through immersive light art installations. The current experience in the 500,000-square-meter Mifuneyama Land in Saga Prefecture is full of magic and romance.

The park’s traditional Japanese gardens come to life at night with TeamLab’s captivating light installations, which draw inspiration from ancient trees, forests and Buddha statues carved into the rock. TeamLab chose this place where the boundaries between artificial gardens and natural forests are blurred, to immerse visitors in a borderless space between nature and humanities, exhibitions and natural backgrounds.

Almost everything becomes a canvas for light art, with flowers, fish, falling water, and more being projected onto everything from the surface of the Mifuneyama Rakuen pond to rocks, caves, and even rhododendron bushes. A stroll through this space is hypnotic, mesmerizing, and even better when shared with loved ones. The photos you take here are sure to bring back memories for a lifetime.

As an island nation, Japan’s coastline stretches nearly 30,000 kilometers, but many tourists ignore it in favor of urban adventures in the country’s cities. But for romantic sunsets, there’s no better place to explore than Okoshiki Beach in Kumamoto Prefecture.

During the day, the sea stretches out in front of you, perfect for strolling along the beach. But at night, it’s really special. At the magical moment, when the tide recedes and the sun begins to set, the sea leaves beautiful wavy patterns on the sand, traces of water and crescent-shaped ripples, illuminated by a golden glow when illuminated by the setting sun. It’s a fleeting moment of beauty, but it’s worth capturing, and it’s no wonder it’s included in Japan’s 100 Best Sunsets and 100 Best Coasts lists.

The largest theme park in Japan, the size of the Principality of Monaco, is a “only in Japan” experience, the theme park consists of life-size replicas of Dutch buildings, as well as windmills, cobblestone streets, canals, and in spring, The garden is full of a million tulips. It might come as a surprise to find such a building here, but the Netherlands and Japan have long ties and a rich history of trade, centered around Nagasaki Prefecture, where Huis Ten Bosch is located.

The whole park is full of fun and the romance helps a lot. 13 million colourful lights illuminate Huis Ten Bosch at night, and a boat ride along the park’s canals, with houses lit on either side, is a great way for couples to enjoy the light together. Or head to the White Ferris Wheel and ride above the park to see the extraordinary layout below. It’s one of the best ways to see all the Dutch-inspired architecture and see it at full size – and take a few selfies along the way.

But for the ultimate experience, and for the two of you to cherish memories forever, charter your own helicopter and take in a high-altitude view of Whith 10 Bosch and the surrounding islands and seascape. Three options are available – the Sasebo Port Sky View Route, a bird’s-eye view of the ships in the historic port, the Kujukushima Sky View Cruise to see the spectacular tree-covered islands and the deep water mouth of Saikai National Park, or a helicopter to transport you back At the airport, you can look forward to the next stop on your Japanese honeymoon while admiring the views along the way.

Perched atop a tree-lined hilltop, the white walls, swept roofs and stone fortifications that greet visitors at Kaiju Yagura Tower in Hirado Castle give the feeling of visiting a museum rather than arriving at a hotel. But the clue is in the name, and what could be more romantic than owning a castle?

Hirado Island has a long history of invasion and resistance, trade and exchange, and a castle has been proud of it since 1559. The current iteration was rebuilt in the 1960s in the original traditional architectural style, and starting in 2021, the Kaiju Yagura turret in Hirado Castle will receive a group of guests each night to one of the yagura or towers, which must be the most beautiful in Japan One of the unique accommodations.

The interior design is a fusion of tradition and modernity, combining Momoyama and Edo-era aesthetics with wall art by local Kyushu artist Takahide Komatsu, and furniture, lighting and materials complement the space perfectly.

But in addition to having this incredible space, the experience of living here provides a true introduction to Japanese culture, with the opportunity to try everything from traditional tea ceremonies to wearing kimonos and katana sword skills. – arab trade news agency
